How the RC sailing team works

Design

Next, we prepare the model for printing by splitting it into parts, choosing the filament, and setting the print parameters before starting production

When the physical model is ready we install the electronics and program the microcontroller to enable communication and yacht control

We begin with an idea and a discussion, then create CAD sketches. We design the hull and select the mast, rudder, keel, and ballast

3D printing
Assembly

Once the parts are printed, we assemble the full model and make any necessare design adjustments based on printing limitations

Sailing rig

If the print quality is satisfactory, we start building the rigging

Control system
Testing

The final stage is testing on the water. With the help of cameras, drones, and support boats,we observe how the yacht performs in different wind, course, and wave conditions.
